High Protein Mix

 

This recipe will make about 7 cups of mix.

 

Ingredients

 

3 cup  whole wheat flour

1/4 cup soy flour

3/4 cup wheat germ

1 cup  nonfat dry milk powder

2 1/2 tablespoon baking powder

1 1/2 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon nutritional yeast

1/2 cup oil

 

Directions

 

1) Combine all of the ingredients.

2) Mix until all of the oil is absorbed.

3) Store in the refrigerator

 

 

Protein Cracker Bread

(Makes 10 Crackers)

 

Ingredients

 

2 1/2 cup high protein mix

½ cup water

Sesame Seeds

 

Directions

 

1) Preheat oven to 425°.

2) Oil a baking sheet.

3) Combine the mix and water to form dough.

4) Divide into 10 balls.

5) Roll each into a 4" x1/8" thick round.

6) Place on baking sheet.

7) Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

8) Press gently to make them stick.

9) Bake 10 to 12 minutes, until golden.

 

Protein Muffins

(Makes 8)

 

Ingredients

 

3 ¼ cup high protein mix

1 cup water

1 egg, beaten

2-4  tablespoon honey

 

Directions

 

1) Preheat oven to 400°.

2) Oil 8 muffin cups.

3) Combine mix, water, egg and honey until completely moistened.

4) Spoon into muffin cups.

5) Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
